Write-On Competition

Membership on LLR is determined through the annual Write-On Competition, which is typically held after the conclusion of the spring semester final examination period. The format of the competition varies from year to year. Traditionally, however, participants complete a case comment based on a closed-universe packet containing an assigned judicial opinion and supporting legal research materials, as well as a Bluebook citation exercise requiring participants to identify and correct citation, formatting, and stylistic errors.

For additional information about eligibility, competition requirements, deadlines, and the application process, please visit the official Write-On Competition webpage on the Loyola Law School website.
