About LLR
The Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review (“LLR”) is a publication devoted to the advancement of legal scholarship. Founded in 1968, LLR is LMU Loyola Law School’s oldest and flagship academic journal. Published quarterly, the Law Review features articles and analyses spanning all areas of law, with contributions from leading scholars, judges, practitioners, and Loyola students. By highlighting emerging legal issues and fostering thoughtful discourse, LLR serves both the academic community and broader legal profession.
Students are selected for LLR based on the results of the Write-On Competition, which varies in format and content from year to year. LLR gives staff members the opportunity to improve their research, writing, and analytical skills. Prospective employers seek out LLR staff members because they recognize the proficiency that journal experience fosters in these areas.
